Age Group 19 and older
1st place male and female 19 and older in each of the following age groups will win $50 and a medal: 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over

Age Group 12 and younger 1st place - Runner’s Pack
Age Group 13 -18 1st place - Medal
(age based on participant’s age on October 1, 2011)

*Overall winners do not qualify to receive age group monetary awards. Awards will default to second place finishers.

Walkers Trophies
1st place overall - Trophy
2nd place overall - Trophy

Participation Challenges
The organization with the most runner and/or walker participants is eligible to win one of the following challenges and its prizes:

Business: Trophy and $600*
(for profit organizations)

Community: Trophy and $600
(non-profit organizations, including schools)

Faith Based: Trophy and $600
(churches or places of worship)

*GRAAHI will donate the prize money on behalf of any business challenge winner with more thatn 100 employees to its charity of choice.

Saturday, October 1
8:00am – 8:45am, Due to security reasons race registration will close at 8:45am. The Rhythm Run/Walk will start promptly at 9:00am. Any participant that starts the race after the official start time will be subjected to run or walk on the sidewalk.

Gazelle Running Clinics
First Timer’s Info Clinic
Monday, August 15, 5:45 pm at Gazelle Sports, Grand Rapids

Gazelle Sports and GRAAHI know you may have some questions...
• How do I train for my first 5k?
• What should I expect on the day of the race?
• What kind of shoes and clothing should I wear?
• Is there a proper way to run?

Enjoy an interactive discussion with GRAAHI and running industry specialists from Gazelle Sports. Physical therapists from Health Motion will also be on hand to complete a free screening and analysis.

This clinic will be a fun way to start the race! Gazelle Sports staff will be available before and after the clinic to complete a gait analysis and answer any questions you may have.

Women-Only Clinic
Tuesday, September 20, 7:00 pm at Gazelle Sports, Grand Rapids

An open forum focussing on issues specific to active women such as nutrition, apparel and fitness goals.

Come enjoy this Women Only Clinic at Gazelle Sports. Preview the season’s most fashionable pieces while enjoying a hot tea bar and snacks.

This clinic will be designed specifically for women and will include a special women’s focused presentation from nutritionist, Sheryl Lozicki.

Female representatives from Gazelle Sports will also be available before and after the clinic to provide custom bra fittings and answer any questions you may have.
